Dr . Marios Bakogeorgos graduated from the Medical School of the Aristotelian University of Thessaloniki, Greece in 2003 and finished his residency in Medical Oncology in 2014 after
which he has worked as a Consultant in the Medical Oncology Clinic of the Hellenic Air Force General Hospital until December 2020, reaching up to the rank of Major.
Since April 2019 he has been Consultant in the Department of Medical Oncology of the Athens Medical Center, Private Clinic.
He got his Masters of Science Degree in Surgical Oncology from the School of Medicine of the University of Athens in June 2021.
His main fields of interest are clinical research, immuno- oncology, thoracic oncology and primary central nervous system tumors.
Dr Bakogeorgos has participated in several international phase II, III and IV clinical trials in patients with solid tumors and multiple myeloma, as an investigator and has authored several
papers in oncology. He is a member of the European Society of Medical Oncology (ESMO), the European Association of Neuro-Oncology (EANO) and the International Association for
the Study of Lung Cancer (IASLC).
